Regarding a performance at the NYC Marathon -
"We heard they were looking for bands so I called them up. I knew
it would be high energy, but I didn't think it would be this great!",
said Desiree Leemets of the Rough Riders, a country western band that
played at the 8 mile mark in Brooklyn. One runner from Holland thought
the music was so inspiring he jumped out of the race for a minute to get
his picture taken with the band.
